My Back and President Obama

The operation to deaden the nerves in three of my vertebrae in my lumbar region has failed. I was pain Free for only two days. Then the pain came back with a vengeance. The only explanation the pain clinic gave we are sorry but the procedure does not work on all. You unfortunately are one of those it does not work with. All the pain of the operation was for only two days of no pain. It was not worth it. However they have come up with a new solution. I now wear a patch that delivers a constant supply of painkiller. Yes there are some side effects but less then some other meds. So we will see.

Still no response from the Neurosurgeon concerning an operation on my Thoracic Spinal Column. I will keep checking.

Obama has done his 100 days. What grade does he get? I give him a B+. He has a lot to learn about getting things done in Washington and I believe he needs to keep a closer handle on the public feelings on any given subject. Overall he has done an amazing good job on juggling and fixing all the complex problems he was given. The Stock Market has at last positively responded to Obama’s program to fixing the banking system. Numbers were up higher than they have been for a very long time. It closed up almost 500 points. Other good sign is that real estate sales have increased. Sadly hiring has not increased. Too many of us are out of work. Our family has two laid off members. My son with a wife and child and my granddaughter have been laid off. The family is helping them as much as we can. But they need jobs!!!
